About
AAPP

The purpose of the American Associates of Psychiatric Pharmacists Collegiate Chapter is to promote the interests of the American Associates of Psychiatric Pharmacists (Formerly the College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists), a national organization which specializes in the pharmacy of psychiatric and neurologic disorders. The AAPP Collegiate Chapter serves to educate collegiate pharmacists about AAPP and to provide students with information about new research, opportunities for patient care, and opportunities for involvement in community outreach. The AAPP Collegiate Chapter is the first organization at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy to not only exclusively focus on psychiatric and neurologic pharmacy, but to also encourage interested students to proactively pursue greater exposure to the field. As a whole, the AAPP Collegiate Chapter aims to ensure that all student pharmacists are more confident in dealing with patients with psychiatric and neurologic disorders.

Our Rutgers Collegiate Chapter for the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy was launched for the 2014-2015 school year.
